As Vice President of Supportive Housing, Jackie Martinez, is responsible for leading the strategic planning, implementation, and continuous evaluation of programs aimed at providing housing support services. In her role, she oversees a team of staff members to ensure the delivery of high-quality services that comply with regulations and standards. Additionally, Jackie coordinates care with community partners to maximize support for individuals in need of housing assistance. Key responsibilities include program development, staff supervision, and collaboration with external stakeholders to optimize outcomes for those accessing supportive housing services. Jackie's role also involves building partnerships and relationships with county agencies, the Coordinated Entry System, Veterans Affairs (VAs), housing authorities, and other outside partners. These collaborations are essential for supporting the operations of Jamboree’s supportive housing communities, enhancing access to resources, and fostering a comprehensive network of support for individuals in need of housing assistance.
She also plays a vital role in designing program delivery around CalAIM initiatives, ensuring alignment with state guidelines and objectives. In addition to program design, Jackie works diligently to meet agency-wide goals for client enrollment and monthly reimbursement. Jackie is actively involved in the CalAIM pilot program, which focuses on Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH) sites with support from CalOptima. In this capacity, she collaborates closely with CalOptima to develop programs at these sites, enabling the integration of CalAIM services. Through her involvement in the CalAIM pilot program, Jackie ensures that our PSH sites can layer in essential CalAIM services such as housing navigation, housing sustainability, day habilitation, and Enhanced Care Management (ECM) to each resident. By leveraging these additional resources and services, Jackie enhances the support available to residents, promoting stability, well-being, and long-term housing success.
Since joining in 2019, her extensive experience in social services, progressing from direct case management to program development and implementation has been fundamental to Jamboree’s continued efforts towards enhancing program efficiency. Through this experience, Jackie brings a perspective that lies in balancing direct resident support with the broader administrative and strategic aspects of supportive services programming.
With her 3 children, husband, and large extended family, Jackie enjoys connecting with those she loves her during free time. This includes weekend soccer games, family events, and hosting BBQs at her home. Jackie’s favorite hobbies include painting, drawing, reading, and playing a quick round of soccer with her kids.
